The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top-performing 10 per cent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Patrick and Tracey Ward are looking forward to a fantastic Mediterranean break after helping top Majorca beach hotel Sis Pins make holidaying there even more wonderful.
They will enjoy a seven day break at the top hotel after winning a competition at Sis Pins last year.
Tracey, 47, who first visited Port of Pollensa when she was 18 with a friend, made a promise she would visit the stunning bay of Pollensa again.
The good news came from a call from the hotel just days before celebrating 25 years of marriage. Pat, 52, was working when the call came through.

“I was totally shocked and convinced that there would be a catch and that it would turn out to be a mistake or at worst a cruel hoax! I telephoned Tracey at work who was equally surprised.”
More than 600 entries were received.

Tracey said that sitting on their balcony watching the sun rise was one of the highlights of their stay.

ALL the staff were so welcoming and friendly and always found time to say hello. A good start to our day was having a fresh tasty breakfast served outside to us on the terrace overlooking the sea”.
